Cora & Daddy Adventures

Daddy and Cora found themselves with an hour or so free.  So what did they do?  Go adventuring, of course.   A little hiking and animal watching at a golf course turned metropark.

Boulevard Bash

Aunt Mary's 99!

It was a wonderful birthday celebration, with family from all around.  Thanks to Aunt Carrie for the great pics!

 It was determined that putting 99 candles on the cake would actually be a fire hazard :)

Transition to Kindergarten

Transitioning to kindergarten...it's been rough.  New school, new teachers, all day, the list goes on.

All three lines of kindergarteners, waiting for their teachers to greet them and walk the in the building would be filling the front steps as Addy was building up the courage to join them.  And then one day, this happened.

We ran to school so that Addy could be first in line.


Update:  Addy's most preferred spot is second in line.  First in line gets to hold the door open.  Second in line gets to lead the class to the room.  It's the small things!

10th Anniversary

Graham and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary this September.  We're so absolutely blessed.  Blessed to have each other, our kids, our families, our friends, and everything else.  Through the great moments, the tough times, and everything in between, we have love.  

Not that it's about presents, but the one that took the cake, was quite literally the cake.  As a surprise to me, Graham ordered a cake from the same mom & pop bakery that made our wedding cake, and had the girls give it to me.  It was delicious!

After a very stressful first week of school for Addy, she found her own way to relax.  I snuck up on her to get this shot.  She's sitting in her chair by the frog pond, reading a book, with an animal habitat she made for an ant and caterpillar next to her.  Completely happy Addy.
