I've talked about it before...Addy LOVES Balto. And by association, dog sledding. (Don't remember? http://lifewiththelanzes.tumblr.com/post/2126923665/some-fun-pictures-from-addys-birthday and http://lifewiththelanzes.tumblr.com/post/1358957788/coras-2-months-old-now-and-as-of-her-doctors, for a refresher) Shortly after Cora was born, what did her Daddy build her? A dogsled. Using some old skis he found tucked away in our garage. And so, for the first time, something Addy has been dreaming about ever since we got Star, she said "Mush, mush" and a real dog pulled her sled.
It really didn't take much convincing at all. Star loves chewing on ropes (her rope toy is one of her favorites) and the snow energizes her, so really Addy & Star were a match made in "Balto-heaven."
