Chad & Megan's Wedding - Red River Gorge, Kentucky

Chad and Megan got married!!!  Yeah!  And what a wonderful weekend it was.  Great time with family and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful scenery.  Here's a view from the deck of our cabin.

Sean and Agnes, taking the canoe for a spin.

Family campfire.  From left to right: Chad, Graham, me, Cora, Addy, Sean, Mom, and Agnes.

Yes, they are that close to a deer.  Yes, I was having a small heart attack while watching this.

We had personalized M&M's made for the occasion.  One had their picture, and the others were printed with one of three sayings: "Chad & Megan," "Sept. 25, 2011," and "gorge-us wedding."

Addy was excited about the wedding, but what she was probably most excited about was hanging out with her two new cousins - Audrey and Colin.

Supervising Uncle Sean.  It's a full time job.  Addy's up to the task.

Why did Chad & Megan decide to get married in Kentucky?  Well, they met rock climbing and the Red River Gorge is home to some of the best rock around. While we aren't climbers, we did enjoy a beautiful hike to one of those structures - the Natural Bridge.  Here's Dad toting Cora up "Fat Man's Pass."

Family pic on top of the Natural Bridge.

Great picture of Mom and Dad.

Back down from the Natural Bridge...Cora seems to be saying, "Ummmm....Uncle Sean, are you sure about this?"

It wasn't until we came back down that we were really were able to see the beautiful rock structure.

Addy practically ran her way the 1 mile uphill to the Natural Bridge and she crashed on the way back down.  Good thing Daddy's got strong arms.

Silly Addy.

Silly Cora.

Playing the lake.

This is the wedding site.  The little specs you see are Sean and Agnes.  Talk about a dramatic backdrop, huh?

In the distance, you can just make out Audrey, Colin and Megan making their way to the ceremony.

The beautiful bride.

Beautiful family.

Oh my god! It is such a beautiful place! It reminds me of one of the Chicago wedding venues where my cousin Stacy got married. I fell in love with that place. From these pictures it looks like you guys actually had a great time. And the couple looks adorable together.
